On September 18, the three-day 28th China International Composites Industrial Technical Exhibition (CCE) came to a successful conclusion at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As a significant industry event in the field of composites, this exhibition brought together resources from across the entire industrial chain. The China Composites Industry Association, in collaboration with its member units, made a splendid appearance. Through various means such as setting up themed booths, actively participating in specialized forums, and organizing international exchange activities, it comprehensively and multi-dimensionally facilitated industry communication and cooperation, demonstrating the vigorous vitality and global vision of China's composites industry.
Showcasing Member Strengths and Building a Platform for Industrial Matchmaking
During the exhibition, the association's booth served as the core area for participation. It集中 [this Chinese character seems out of place here; assuming it was meant to be omitted in translation] displayed the core products, technical materials, and application cases of member units, comprehensively presenting the innovative achievements of member enterprises in areas such as material research and development, manufacturing, and scenario applications. The specially designated materials collection and negotiation area at the booth attracted a large number of downstream purchasers and partners to stop and inquire, effectively building a precise bridge for matching supply and demand and laying a solid foundation for potential cooperation.
Uniting Industry Forces and Discussing Development Directions
Leaders and representatives from member units of the association flocked to the exhibition site, engaging in in-depth exchanges with the exhibition team on industry trends, market dynamics, and cooperation opportunities. They also held discussions on topics such as technological breakthroughs and green transformation in the composites industry, further consolidating industry consensus and laying the groundwork for the association's subsequent efforts to promote industrial collaborative development.
Focusing on Cutting-edge Topics and Sparking Intellectual Exchanges
Several high-quality specialized forums were held concurrently during this exhibition. The association was deeply involved and took the lead or co-organized discussions on key topics, providing professional perspectives and practical paths for industry development. Among them, the "Innovative Applications of Bio-based Composites" specialized forum, hosted by the China Composites Industry Association and organized by its Bio-technology and Materials Innovation Development Special Committee, brought together industry elites. It focused on R&D breakthroughs, industrialization bottlenecks, and innovative applications of bio-based composites, offering a direction for the industry's green transformation.
At the invitation of the Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency (KCarbon), the association organized enterprises to participate in the "China-Korea High-end Composites Enterprise Symposium." Representatives such as Liu Yong from Lianyungang Zhongfu Lianzhong Composites Group Co., Ltd., a vice president unit of the association, and Lu Hongping, the deputy secretary-general of the association, had productive exchanges with their Korean counterparts on technical collaboration and industrial chain complementarity. In addition, the association, in conjunction with the Korea Carbon Hydrogen Industry Research Association, held the "2025 China-Korea International Carbon Industry Technology Exchange Seminar," sharing technological experiences in the carbon industry and promoting industrial collaboration between the two countries.
The association's booth was not only a display window but also an important platform for international exchanges. During the exhibition, it received representatives from organizations in multiple countries including South Korea, Japan, and France, as well as enterprise leaders and purchasers from domestic and foreign institutions. Both sides engaged in candid and in-depth discussions on topics such as cutting-edge technologies in composites, market demands, and cross-border cooperation models. Several negotiations have already reached preliminary cooperation intentions, opening up important channels for member units to "go global" and "bring in."
During the exhibition, the 2025 China-Korea Composites Industry Co-development Association and Enterprise MOU Signing Ceremony was grandly held in the forum area of Hall 6.1. Focusing on the long-term cooperation between China and South Korea in the composites industry, this signing ceremony attracted over 80 professionals from the two countries. Lu Hongping, the deputy secretary-general of the China Composites Industry Association, attended and witnessed the event. The successful holding of the signing ceremony marked a new stage in cooperation between Chinese and South Korean composites enterprises in areas such as technological R&D, market expansion, and resource sharing, injecting new impetus into the collaborative development of the composites industries in the two countries.
The successful organization of this series of activities not only fully demonstrated the industry influence and innovative strength of the China Composites Industry Association and its member enterprises but also achieved fruitful results in promoting the integration of industrial chain resources and deepening international exchanges and cooperation. We look forward to gathering again in Shanghai next autumn to continue contributing wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of China's composites industry!
