Secretary-General Meng Yijie of China Composites Industry Association Attends JEC World 2026

and Interprets Composite Material Strategies of Major Chinese Automakers

The global gathering was co-hosted by Mr. Eric Pierrejean, Chairman of JEC Group, and Mr. Roberto Fraccascia, President of the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA). It brought together representatives of leading composite materials associations from around the world, aiming to build a professional platform for strategic dialogue and international cooperation.

Facing the challenges in industrial development, Secretary-General Meng called on global partners to strengthen cooperation and jointly seize the opportunities brought by new-quality productive forces. He emphasized that China has established a complete composite material industrial chain, covering high-performance fibers upstream, molding equipment midstream, and application verification downstream, providing all-round material solutions for automakers worldwide.
