Member Units,
Currently, the global community is actively exploring sustainable development pathways, and the field of biomedical materials is thriving accordingly. Among them, bio-based composites have emerged prominently due to their outstanding characteristics such as good biocompatibility, degradability, and renewable sources, attracting much attention and becoming an important force driving industry progress. The state also attaches great importance to the biomedical materials industry. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Medical Products Administration have jointly launched the Innovation Challenge for Biomedical Materials (Second Batch), providing a rare opportunity for the development of bio-based composites.
Against this backdrop, the China Composites Industry Association has established a Biotechnology and Materials Professional Committee, aiming to accelerate technological breakthroughs and industrial applications of composites in the field of biomedical materials, and further promote industry development. The association is now publicly soliciting composite material enterprises with strong innovation capabilities and solid technical foundations to participate in the challenge. We encourage all units to actively participate.
Application Requirements
The applicant must be registered in the territory of the People's Republic of China, possess independent legal person status, and have core technology reserves, a research and development team related to the challenge tasks, as well as strong technological innovation and industrial application capabilities.
Participation Method
Units with intention to apply are requested to fill out the required application materials (see Annex 1, 2) before March 20, 2025, via the website: https://aimd.caict.ac.cn/. For further support, please contact the association's secretariat.
