New Year's Greetings from China Composites Industry Association for 2025

As the chimes of the New Year ring out, we embrace 2025 with full aspirations and hopes, a year brimming with opportunities and challenges. On behalf of the China Composites Industry Association, I would like to extend my sincerest respects and warmest New Year greetings to all our branches, member units, and every individual who has diligently worked and relentlessly struggled for the composite materials industry in China. At the same time, I express heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to all friends from all walks of life who have always concerned about and supported the development of our association.

Looking back at 2024, we collectively navigated the volatile global economy and domestic economic pressures. Under these severe tests, the composite materials industry demonstrated resilient vitality and robust growth momentum. We further underscored our irreplaceable role in emerging productivity sectors such as aerospace, renewable energy, and green and low-carbon initiatives. The industry's scale grew steadily, and its application fields continued to expand, injecting new vitality into China's high-quality economic development. Over the past year, the country introduced a series of economic policies, providing strong policy support and development space for the industry. Guided by the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th National Congress, we actively responded to national development guidelines, enhanced R&D efforts, further optimized industrial chains and supply chains, achieved significant progress in digitalization and intelligent manufacturing capabilities, and elevated innovation and sustainable development to new heights.

2024 was also a crucial year for the association to deeply engage in the industry and steadily advance towards long-term success. Under the firm leadership of the Central Social Work Department, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we focused on industry self-discipline, established a standard system, and maintained market order. We prioritized development safety and solidly implemented related support work. We also focused on the transition between old and new growth drivers and actively promoted the industry's "dual carbon" (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) initiatives. Meanwhile, we guided enterprises to go global, extensively conducted international cooperation and exchanges, and consistently centered on "four services," actively playing an industry-leading role to safeguard the healthy development of the industry.

Looking ahead to 2025, the China Composites Industry Association will continue to uphold the development philosophy of "innovation, greenness, coordination, openness, and sharing," fully leveraging its role as a bridge and tie to promote technological innovation and high-quality industry development. We will integrate resources to achieve breakthroughs in new directions such as high-performance composites. We will further enhance service levels and capabilities to better meet industry needs. At the same time, we encourage enterprises to prioritize niche areas and differentiated development. We will firmly implement the "dual carbon" strategy, consolidate the foundation for green manufacturing in the industry, and promote its sustainable development. We will further expand international horizons, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with international counterparts, elevate China's composite materials industry's global status and influence, and jointly create an even more glorious new chapter of development.

In this new year, we will continue to uphold our service mission, stand shoulder to shoulder with industry peers, and greet the dawn of 2025. With a pioneering spirit, we will drive the transformation and development of the composite materials industry and contribute our wisdom and strength to the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
