Five-Year Commitment, Ushering in a New Chapter: Why Is This Year's Annual Meeting Time "Tentatively Scheduled"?

As time flies by, the bustling scene of the 2020 general assembly for the change of leadership still lingers vividly in our minds, and five years have quietly passed. These five years may be but a fleeting moment in the long river of history, but for China's composite materials industry, they have been a period of magnificent progress and relentless advancement. We have collectively witnessed the growth of composite materials from an emerging force to a solid cornerstone supporting key sectors such as national manufacturing upgrades, aerospace, new energy vehicles, and wind power generation. During this time, the China Composites Industry Association has always resonated with the industry, actively playing the role of a bridge and bond, advocating for and promoting the development of the industry.

Every year in late November, it is like a grand festival for our industry, as the China Composites Industry Annual Meeting is held as scheduled. It is not only a grand event for industry exchanges but also an important moment for us to summarize the past and look forward to the future. However, this year's annual meeting holds extraordinary significance as it coincides with the association's general assembly for the change of leadership. The change of leadership signifies a new starting point and a new journey, having far-reaching implications for the future development direction of the association, its service models, and its ability to lead the industry.

Currently, we are diligently preparing for this significant annual meeting and general assembly for the change of leadership. However, we have encountered some situations that require time to be fully addressed. The information on the candidates for the vice president positions is still being refined. This is a rigorous and meticulous task that is crucial for the composition of the future leadership team of the association and the guiding force for the future development of the industry. Nevertheless, we are well aware of the importance of announcing the time of the annual meeting for our members, industry colleagues, and relevant partners. Everyone needs to plan their trips and work schedules in advance to fully participate in this grand event. Therefore, after careful consideration, we can only tentatively schedule the time of the annual meeting. Once the relevant preparations are completed, we will promptly announce the exact date.

Here, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. Over the past five years, we have forged ahead hand in hand and achieved remarkable results. Looking ahead, we look forward to continuing to walk side by side with you on this new journey to create a brilliant future together. The association is actively maintaining close communication with the superior authorities, promptly reporting on the progress, and striving for the smooth advancement of the leadership change work. 1. Graduate Student Forum

The Graduate Student Forum will provide a platform for graduate students in the field of composite materials to showcase their research results and exchange academic ideas. The forum will invite well-known experts and scholars to serve as judges, providing comments and guidance on the graduate students' papers and speeches, and conducting an excellent paper selection. Outstanding papers will have the opportunity to be recommended for publication in relevant academic journals and will be showcased and exchanged at the annual meeting. Specific participation methods and requirements will be notified later. Graduate students are warmly welcomed to sign up actively.

2. Composite Material Structural Design and Model Simulation Forum

This forum will provide a platform for enterprises and experts engaged in digital design and model simulation in the field of composite materials to showcase and demonstrate technologies or software. It will also offer a technical exchange platform for young scholars and engineers and a platform for relevant enterprises to release difficulties and connect with experts.
The forum will solicit excellent annual papers, which will be published in a special issue of the Composites Science and Engineering journal. Papers that conform to the following theme ranges and have not been published in formal domestic or international journals or at other conferences are eligible for submission. After peer review organized by the journal editorial board, accepted papers will be published.

Registration Information

Conference Fees

1. Registration Fee: Includes conference fees, material fees, venue and equipment fees, meal fees, lecturer fees, and tea break fees. Participation is voluntary. For the same company, if four people participate, one person's registration fee will be waived.

2. Exhibition Fee: This conference will set up an exhibition area. The quick exhibition mode costs 10,000 RMB per booth, which includes the registration fees for two people. The offer is not cumulative. The booth locations will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order of contract signing.

3. Each registered personnel from member units can attend the conference for free (limited to 1 person).
   Note: Specific business cooperation can be arranged according to combined prices. Interested parties are welcome to call for details.
